GREAT WALKS: THE TRAILS THAT DEFINE A TRIP

These are the walks people build entire trips around. Each one has its own rhythm, terrain, and emotional arc. We handle permits, transfers, accommodation, and baggage so you can focus on putting one foot in front of the other.

Milford Track

4 DAYS

New Zealand. 53.5 km through Fiordland rainforest to Milford Sound. Mackinnon Pass at 1,154 m. A boat ride into the Sound at the finish. Permit-capped, which keeps it intimate. The title 'finest walk in the world' was given in 1908. It still holds.

Best For

Walkers who want the signature New Zealand experience, couples, small groups

Planner's Edge

Guided vs. independent is the key decision — we recommend based on your style and book 6–12 months ahead.

Camino de Santiago

7-35 DAYS DEPENDING ON ROUTE

Spain (and Portugal). The Camino Francés is the classic — 800 km from the Pyrenees to Santiago. The Camino Portugués is the coastal alternative: quieter, great food, shorter. Both deliver the experience. The stage length, the accommodation, and the company you keep are what make it personal.

Best For

All fitness levels (we plan the stages), solo walkers, couples, spiritual seekers and sceptics alike

Planner's Edge

April–June and September–October are the sweet spot — we plan stage lengths, rest days, and the great meal at the end of each day as part of the design.

Tour du Mont Blanc

11 DAYS (FULL CIRCUIT)

France, Italy, Switzerland. 170 km around Europe's highest peak. Three countries, three cuisines, and a different skyline every morning. Refuge nights for the immersive version. Valley hotel upgrades for the one where you shower properly every night.

Best For

Fit walkers, alpine lovers, those who want a challenge that's still a holiday

Planner's Edge

Late June–September for snow-free passes — we plan the variant routes that most guides skip and the valley-town dinners that make the refuges feel earned.

W-Trek

4-5 DAYS

Chilean Patagonia. The signature Torres del Paine route: Grey Glacier, Valle del Francés, and Las Torres. Wind, granite, turquoise lakes, and ice. Refugios or camping depending on your tolerance for shared bathrooms and Patagonian weather.

Best For

Fit walkers, adventure couples, photographers, dedicated hikers

Planner's Edge

November–March only. Refugios book out 6+ months ahead — we secure the beds first.

Inca Trail

4 DAYS

Peru. 43 km over three mountain passes — Dead Woman's Pass at 4,215 m is the centrepiece. Cloud forest, Inca ruins, and a sunrise arrival at Machu Picchu through Inti Punku. One of the world's most iconic treks, and the permit system keeps it that way.

Best For

Adventure travellers, history lovers, committed hikers who've acclimatized

Planner's Edge

Permits sell out months ahead. Cusco acclimatisation (2 days minimum) is non-negotiable. We build the Sacred Valley itinerary around the trek so the whole Peru trip feels designed.
