BARCELONA: LAYERED AND EFFORTLESS

Modernist icons, late dinners, Mediterranean light. Barcelona works best when it's paced well. We balance the headline moments (Gaudí, the Gothic Quarter, the beach) with the parts that make the city feel human: neighbourhood cafés, design shops, and reservations you don't have to fight for.

Gaudí + Architecture

1-2 days

Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Batlló. Timed-entry access and a guide when it adds value (and it usually does).

Best for:
First-time visitors, architecture lovers, families

Planner’s edge:
We buy the tickets and route the visits — this city has queue problems that ruin days if you wing it.

Neighbourhood Barcelona

2-3 days

Eixample for Modernisme walking. El Born for galleries and restaurants. Gràcia for the calmer, local feel.

Best for:
Repeat visitors, design + food, couples

Planner’s edge:
We balance the eating between El Born's design-led restaurants and Gràcia's neighbourhood spots — the best meal in Barcelona is rarely in the most obvious neighbourhood.

Day Trips

1 day each

Montserrat, Girona, Costa Brava, or Cava country depending on your pace and interests.

Best for:
Flexible itineraries, wine + coast, history-first

Planner’s edge:
Montserrat before 9 AM or after 3 PM; Girona on a weekday; Costa Brava best with a driver — we plan the day trips so they don't feel like a compromise.
